On claw-and-ball feet, the ornate carving that requires three days to complete, rises toward a filigree back that showcases the carvers art to full advantage. Our traditional European chairs, with comfortable suspension and upholstery in a quality jacquard of gold and blue stripes, create a classic heirloom. Our works of furniture art are as comfortable as they are beautiful. Set includes two armchairs and four side chairs.

Lord Cumberland had this throne built for his royal guestroom. Not knowing whether his visitors would be kings or queens, he had both likenesses carved into the spindles and regal lion heads carved roaring from the arm rests. The matching wooden footstool has the same quality, hand-tacked leather cushion and deeply carved Georgian details as the wide throne. These replicas take over a day to hand carve.
